Thanksgiving is a national holiday in the U.S.A and Canada celebrated in autumn, centered on gratitude for the years´blessings, especially the harvest, with roots in a 1621 feast shared by Plymouth colonists (Pilgrims) and the Wampanoag people who helped them survive. It is a holiday for families to enjoy a large meal (with the traditional turkey, stuffing pies ...) to reflect what they´re thankful for.
In class we have made a turkey whose feathers include our students´ facts of gratitude.
Nice craft!
